Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!)

Q. What can I expect when I visit FCC?
A. Whether you visit on a Sunday morning or Sunday evening, you can expect a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, upbeat music, and useful teaching from the Bible.

Q. Do you offer different types of services?
A. The Sunday School service (9a.m.) is a group setting for learning great Bible lessons.  The Sunday Morning Worship service (10a.m.) is contemporary music and a relaxed atmosphere with great sermons. The Wednesday 7p.m. service is designed for an adult Bible study. Teens can also attend the Wednesday night service for interactive discussions.

Q. What do you offer for kids?
A. On Sundays, we offer:
  • childcare for our youngest members, 5 and under
  • programming for elementary children
  • classes for everyone
During the week, we offer:
  • Awana for children from 3 years up through the 6th grade on Wednesday nights
  • Small groups for junior and senior high

Q. How long are the services?
A. The morning services are about 60-80 minutes in length. That may be longer than you are used to, but we believe you will find it is time well spent. Our desire is to experience, to learn from and be counseled by God during our time together.

Q. How should I dress?
A. Our focus is on God and not what others are wearing. You'll find that the style of dress here varies from person to person. We don't dress to impress or distract.

Q. What type of music do you sing?
A. The morning service is generally contemporary Christian music, but we've been known to mix it up!

Q. Is it possible to get a ride?
A. E-mail or phone the church office, and we will try to help you find transportation.
